As of June 1, 2011, Civil Unions became an option for all citizens of the state. However, it is the only option at this time for same-sex couples who want their relationship recognized by the state.
Creating a special and unique ceremony to celebrate your union can be a very important step in your relationship. I will attend to your wishes and desires with the same care and joy that I give all my couples.
Even prior to this new legislation, I have helped couples design and have officiated over many same sex commitment ceremonies over the years and always consider it a privelege to do so.
